MKV to FCP X/7/6: How to Import MKV Files to Final Cut Pro X/7/6 for Editing?

Q: "I have captured some interesting videos in .mkv format, I want to edit these MKV files with FCP X before sharing on my MacBook Pro. But failed to import. Anybody know why and how to solve?"

Step 3. At last, tap the Convert button to convert MKV files to ProRes for Final Cut Pro on Mac. Whe the conversion is complete, you can click "Open" to find the converted videos, and import the converted MOV files in FCP X/7/6 for further editing without hassle.
